One Size does NOT fit all, especially when it comes to proper nutrition, healthy dieting, effective weight loss, reaching your personal health and fitness goals!
proper way of losing weight, having more energy, and eating healthy food is a different experience for everyone.
What works for me might not work for you! But what you CAN and SHOULD do is take the time to figure it out.
I really found a lot of success with The 21 Day Fix. But after 4 rounds, I decided it was time to try something new. When I started Insanity Max 30 back in December, I had no idea what to expect.
Not gonna lie, I was partially motivated by the ridiculous before/after photos of the coaches who did the test group.
It's easy for me to get caught in the self-destructive mentality of "I'm different...I probably won't get those results" so I wanted to protect my expectations.
I knew I would be travelling for a couple weeks, so I wanted a program I could take on the road with me, that I could do anywhere with no equipment, and that would give me a big calorie burn to offset all the eating out.
Throughout the program I was focused more on the process and staying consistent with the workouts than I was on outcome or results.
I knew my body was changing, but was hard to tell on a day to day basis!
Today I am on Day 10. And the experience seems different. I am fully committed to the workouts.
I am following the 21 Day Fix Meal plan and I am on a mission to make it through all 8 weeks.
I'm motivated by a challenge, and thrive under structure, which is why I absolutely love short and sweet, intense programs like the 21 Day Fix.
Insanity Max 30 is 2 months, which is a really, REALLY long time! I think the length of this program is great because it gives me a broader and more balanced perspective on what it means to live a healthy lifestyle.
I didn't feel constrained with a laser focused "all or nothing" mentality, and I feel a lot more emotionally stable in terms of body image.
If you struggle with the rollercoaster of staying hyper-vigilant and healthy on weekdays and then "blowing your diet" on the weekends, this program might be good for you
But, truly - you have to actively discover your triggers: Are those jelly beans at the office more powerful than you are? Or do you let your nutrition fall apart when you travel?
Bit by bit, you have to study yourself until you get the perfectly suited plan that is just for YOU!
It's trial and error: Mistakes and Triumphs.
But having support is what brings it all together! You don't have to conduct this alone! The great part is that we are all in this together!
You can also try martial arts for fun - enroll at Blackbelt Plus - martial arts classes Qld Australia for kids and adults.
